We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Services Division at TKMS ATLAS UK, overseeing a portfolio of In-Service Support and Contractor Logistic Support projects. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will work within a collaborative and highly capable team responsible for supporting complex maritime systems throughout their operational life.

Our Services Division plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive reliable, responsive and effective support solutions. This role is central to our strategy of delivering exceptional customer service while continuing to grow our long-term support capability across UK and international programmes.

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, balancing customer expectations, commercial objectives and operational delivery. Working closely with Programme Leads, Operations teams and Waterfront teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed performance targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple In-Service Support and CLS projects.
  • Monitoring project performance against cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Creating, maintaining and executing project Risk Management Plans.
  • Ensuring effective management of risks, opportunities, security requirements, trade controls, quality and configuration management activities.
  • Producing regular project reporting and escalating issues appropriately to senior management.
  • Coordinating project stakeholders and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Services Division.
  • Undertaking occasional travel within the UK and internationally when required.

What are we looking for?

We’re interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering projects within a services, support or technical environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • The ability to lead diverse teams, suppliers and project contributors towards shared objectives.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence engaging with customers and senior stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery within a business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The following would also be advantageous:

  • A degree in an Engineering or Business-related discipline.
  • Formal project management qualifications.
  • Experience of In-Service Support, CLS or ILS processes and procedures.
  • Experience within the defence sector or another highly regulated technical industry.
